Individual Sponsorship

Since 1986, more than 600 participants have graduated from the Leadership Springfield (LS) program and assumed positions of responsibility and leadership in our community.  As a graduate of LS, you are part of a distinguished group who have participated in our community’s premier leadership training program.  It’s with great pride that we acknowledge LS’s 24rd consecutive year as a locally based leadership development program.

Corporate and individual donor support of LS enables the Springfield community to cultivate future leaders.  Contributions are utilized in many ways – participant scholarships, and offsets to operating costs for monthly programs, graduation, and networking events.  All contributions are greatly appreciated.

LS has partnered with the Sangamon County Community Foundation (SCCF) to set up an endowment to ensure the long-term charitable support necessary to maintain the high quality of the LS program for years to come.  The LS Fund uses investment income to offer scholarships to deserving participants and support education initiatives. Simply click here to make an automated tax-deductible contribution to the Leadership Springfield Fund and put in "Leadership Springfield" in the designation box.

Donations to defray operating costs can be made directly to LS through The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce.  These contributions can be made payable to Leadership Springfield and submitted to Sharon Theison at the following address:

3 South Old State Capitol Plaza
Springfield, IL 62701.

(Donations directly to LS are not tax-deductible but may qualify as a business expense.  Please consult your financial advisor.)

An investment in LS is an investment in the future of the Springfield community.  All contributions make an impact and we’re grateful for your consideration.  If you would like additional information regarding LS sponsorship, please contact Sharon Theison at stheison@gscc.org or by phone (217) 525-1173.
